Last week in right-wing trolling
Here's what you may have missed from the worst people on the internet
Before we get started, check out another video episode of the Did Nothing Wrong pod on YouTube with Robert Silverman! We discussed the mass shooting in Allen, Texas, and the right's excuses and indifference to the violence. Here's the link:
Two stories dominated right-wing circles in the last week. The first was the complete and constant denial that the self-proclaimed white supremacist mass shooter in Allen, Texas was somehow, some way not a Neo-Nazi despite sporting a swastika tattoo and calling himself a white supremacist.
The other story was of course Trump's CNN Town Hall and how much the right-wing gleefully cheered on CNN's decision to platform Trump's constant stream of lies. Let's take a look at those topics and more.
The Allen TX shooter left a manifesto on a Russian social media site because they effectively don't remove any posts from that site, and the shooter wanted people to read it. The Russian site has an English interface and has been used by a number of American Neo-Nazis in the past. This story is only "weird" if you offer zero context. Also, Ian Miles Cheong is a Malaysian man who writes about American politics for Russia Today, so stop acting like this is unheard of.
Nevertheless, here’s Twitter’s owner endorsing yet another right-wing conspiracy theory of the shooting being some kind of “psyop.”
Look, I don’t know if Tim Pool “radicalized” the Texas shooter, but he appears to have been a fan of Tim’s show regardless of how he ended up there.
Tim Pool’s extremely adult and compassionate response to his critics can be found here.
Here’s Pool after Trump’s town hall. Remember that not that long ago he said Trump supporters hate him! He also continues to call himself a moderate and a centrist today. With a straight face. They will get people hooked on their grift any way they can.
In case you missed it, Elon also announced a new CEO for Twitter in the coming weeks. Her name is Linda Yaccarino, and while it seems that she consumes a lot of trash right-wing media, they're not happy about her appointment. Why? Because the right sees the World Economic Forum as the source of (almost all) evil in the world.
I’ve written about their obsession with the WEF before.
Please do remember to let them fight.
RFK Jr. went on Fox News again to claim the CIA killed his uncle, JFK. You know who else likes to blame his death on the CIA? Russian intelligence services and related propaganda outfits. The rest of the Kennedy family has come out in opposition to RFK Jr's position repeatedly.
By the way, it says a lot that RFK Jr. had to refute this rumor at all…
MAGA continues to cheer on the destruction of Fox News’s ratings collapse after Tucker's firing. Expect this to continue.
Anyway, the Alpha Males in MAGA want to invade Mexico to fight the cartels and conquer Canada in his second term.
I think, maybe, we should go another way. How about you? Until next time…
