Last week in right-wing trolling
Here's what you may have missed from the worst people on the internet
Hey everyone, before we get started, please go fill out this survey of our Did Nothing Wrong content going forward. Let us know what you like and what you don’t! Once we have enough submissions, we’re doing a free giveaway for three randomly selected people who fill this out. Those three people will have their choice between a Did Nothing Wrong t-shirt or coffee mug.
The biggest story from the past week has to be the full on harassment campaign aimed at Target because the company supposedly sold clothing with satanic imagery (false) and LGBTQ-friendly swimwear for children (also false as the LGBTQ-friendly swimwear was for adults only). Anyway, the right is not hiding what they're doing. Self-styled fascist Matt Walsh is one of those leading this charge.
Libs of TikTok a/k/a Chaya Raichik is another predictable pusher of this narrative.
It’s funny because no one cares if it’s true or not.
Conservative thought leadership at its finest from Mr. Moderate here.
Of course, Murdoch's NY Post is cheering the whole operation on.
In other news, a different kind of fake outrage also dropped this week. White nationalists have repeatedly attended TPUSA events, and white nationalists have also headlined TPUSA events. Clutch those pearls, fellas.
Remember when Alex Jones said the government was putting stuff in the water to turn the frogs gay? This is pretty much the same fearmongering, but it’s aimed at women who take birth control. Why? Because they're concerned about white birth rates.
Darren Beattie is an far-right blogger who frequently spouts pro-Kremlin talking points. I don’t know if this claim about security clearances is true, but if it’s not, then it ought to be.
John Durham secured zero jail time and could not apparently find an excuse to compel testimony from any of QAnon’s favorite enemies. It can’t be that “there’s no there there” and never was. It must be time to investigate the inept Trump-appointed investigator!
So you’re saying there’s no political solution? Because that’s a recipe for violence, even if it’s all a joke.
The right is very upset that The Atlantic called Twitter a far-right social network. Counterpoint, courtesy of Twitter’s owner (yes, this is a real tweet):
That’s it for this week! Join us next time, folks.
Sorry for the mistake below. I meant to say that the judge over rode the FDA not EPA
Great piece 👏👏
I am interested in the birth control propaganda. I think the ground is being softened for....yes, as you say ...low white birth rates and to increase those...but also in the same way that Judge in Amarillo ruled on the mifip.drug citing it was dangerous.. overriding the EPA. I fear birth control may be next. Please correct me if I'm wrong ...but didn't Brett Kav.at his supreme court hearing call Birth control pills something like " another abortion causing drug "...? Something very similar to that, tho. I don't know ...he was pretty hung over those days.
Thank you for your help 🙏 always.
Love, StacyO 💕
