On this same cursed timeline, the trans community is being demonized as "terrorists". Meanwhile, Republicans are claiming—without evidence—that the horrible school shooting in Nashville was itself a hate crime against Christians which DOJ refuses to acknowledge. Why? According to Jesse Kelly, it's because hate crimes are only about protecting communists.

On a more serious note, the right leaned really heavily into anti-trans rhetoric this week, and Twitter (perhaps accidentally) locked some accounts for what the company later said were threats of violence. It's the least the platform can do, but the right was big mad over this minor annoyance.
