Jay, you could explain with a little more depth, the dueling Bandera-vs-Stalin iconography is part of the psychological warfare between the two most committed core factions of DNR/LNR vs Azov and the other 98% of the UAF. The Wolfsangel and the pretend-communism of Zakarchenko were the same thing, theater just to trigger the enemy and put them psychologically off-balance. Witness the way Potemkin governments like the would be Kherson and Zap Republics ritually use the old communist battle flag before the russian tricolor in at least one flag-planting video, and the way that flag is used on tanks. When Wolfsangels and swastikas appear (and, honestly, portraits of Bandera, which I personally find distasteful) this should be seen in the context of 30s starvation, and how the hammer and sickle was a cruel joke to the starved of Ukraine.

Excellent article. Thanks for the suggestions to redirect focus from Kremlin talking points. Every effort that we can make that supports Ukraine, and thwarts this unprovoked invasion is a positive action.
